Chinese and German MTCers successfully arrived at Everest base camp!

8763.7 KM from Munich to Shanghai,

4235.1 KM from Shanghai to Lhasa,

608 KM from Lhasa to Mount Everest,

8 KM from Rongbu Temple to Everest Base Camp.

In the vast world,

The clouds are white and low, the sky is blue and bright,

The mountains and rivers are magnificently.

The car slowly moved along the plateau valley.

After a few day and night boat trips, MTCers of Chinese and German arrived at Everest Base Camp smoothly at 10:00 AM 8th Oct. 2018!

At the height of 5,200 meters, the air is extremely thin. Many people have altitude sickness, even the local Tibetan tour guides had a low fever.

Everest base camp daytime temperature is between minus 6 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius. In the afternoon the sun was still shining brightly, but the cold wind struck making people cannot stop shivering.

The air seems to be thin forever. The sunshine like summer and the temperature like winter are mixed into a fantasy experience.

Everest is just behind it. MTCer climbed to this point in awe.

Hearing the old man said, “Big mountains are far away, and climbing is the only way.” Since the establishment of MTC, MTCers have never stopped moving forward. In the future, all MTCers will maintain our original intentions, support each other and keep on going.
